I'm just a regular guy with a passion for woodworking. I first tried my hand at making my now wife a pencil case with a block of oak and a sharp chisel. Several bloody paper towels, a few scars, and a useless block of wood later, and I was hooked.

Then it was a jewelry box. My next triumph - it worked and it met its intended purpose. It wasn't anything fancy, simple drawers that slid on rails and a lift top with a mirror attached. My wife kept that jewelry box for 14 months before it fell apart. Another failure? No way - another lesson.

I learned from those mistakes and kept trying. Now I'm making furniture, cutting boards, pens, and more - and they come out beautifully. Woodworking is a hobby of mine, but I enjoy using the proceeds of my creations to fuel my addiction to the smell of sawdust.
